Generative Playwriting

Using time-tested writing and acting practices, this four-week workshop is designed to use embodied, sensory exercises to spark new ideas and perspectives. Sessions will consist of exercises, writing time, work sharing, and feedback in order to unlock your unique playwriting voice and strengthen your creative practice.

Open to all abilities, physical and artistic!

Aaron Klass (He/Him) is a playwright, director, designer, production manager, and actor. He holds a BA in Theatre and is currently pursuing a Theatre and Performance Studies MA at CU Boulder where he is also on staff as an Instructor in the Theatre Department and a Pedagogical Consultant with the Center for Teaching and Learning. He coordinates CU’s Annual New Play Festival. He was a member of the 2023 Boulder Ensemble Theater Company Writer's Group.
