About the event
How to rebel through the art and activism of language? As writers, our freedom comes from our words, how we take up space, how we revolt by what we challenge. In this class, we will find inspiration from the words, art, and performances of the Guerilla Girls, CAConrad, Zoe Leonard, Francesca Woodman, David Wojnarowicz and more, to explore the ways we can create meaningful change. You will leave with new poems written and a strong sense of how to resist the unjust world through the power of language.
Limited to 12 participants.
All genres and experience levels welcome!
