About the event

Did you know that the first documented letter was written by Queen Atossa in 500 BC?! Find out other fascinating historical facts about letter writing, and join an art that has shaped our communication as a species! In addition to providing juicy information about how we got from clay tablets to sending emails, this workshop is also a practical guide for anyone who desires to start or strengthen a letter-writing practice.

Limited to 12 participants. 


All genres and experience levels welcome!


Emily Anne Nava is a writer, linguist, and narrative therapist devoted to supporting individuals develop their unique voice and tell their personal story. Her path to this practice has included a PhD in Linguistics, a stint as a journalist, time in the tech industry, and founding her own writing company, Tumbleweed Pioneer. She believes that language holds immense power for transformation, healing, and connection.
