About the event
In this six-week workshop, we will explore the craft of poetry, including voice, imagery and architecture, opening space for reflection, discussion and in-class writing. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their poems-in-progress and receive constructive feedback designed to help their writing grow. Whether you’re just beginning or have years of experience, this workshop offers a collaborative space to deepen your practice and connect with fellow poets. Please note: There will be no class on Thanksgiving, November 27

Aimee Herman is a gay, trans writer and educator. They are the author of the novel, "Everything Grows" and two full length books of poems, in addition to being widely published in journals and anthologies including BOMB, cream city review, and "Troubling the Line: Trans and Genderqueer Poetry and Poetics" (Nightboat Books).
